Welcome to the Foxtail Ranch!

We are a horse ranch in Portugal that offers trail rides, groundwork lessons, riding lessons but you can also just come by and get to know the horses more!

 

We moved to Portugal in 2021 with our 2 horses from the Netherlands, since then the group started getting bigger and bigger. And now we have 6 horses! And we wanted to do something with the ranch so that everyone can enjoy the horses company!

 Our horses have a lot of freedom, they are all standing together in a group so they have social contact every part of the day. They really have their own character. If they do not like something you will be able to tell. We ride bitless with them, the most important thing with horses is building a connection with them and a special bond & try to understand them as best as we can.
